Our team is made up of this sister-duo, Kaitlyn and Faith. Together, we do everything from managing every detail that goes into running a business while also making every dessert by hand. It is a lot, but we have fun!
About the owner
Kaitlyn is the owner/founder of Sweet and Tarte, and has been crafting wedding cakes for over 8 years in the Gallatin Valley. After growing up in Bozeman, Montana she attended Montana State University. During her time in school she worked several jobs, including a few a local bakeries. An incredible boss/mentor encouraged her to start her own business making wedding cakes, so she did.
With over 12 years of professional baking experience and 8 years of making wedding cakes, her expertise is this work is vast. She hand crafts every single dessert that is made for Sweet and Tarte from scratch, and ensures quality along every step. Working in the wedding industry is not for the faint of heart, but she is always looking for the opportunity to create something beautiful and delicious for her clients in Bozeman, Big Sky, Paradise Valley, and beyond.
Team
Faith joined the team several years ago as the main communications coordinator, and she manages many other of the behind the scenes details that keep Sweet and Tarte running. Kaitlyn and Faith are sisters, and they are pleased (most of the time) to be working together on a day-to-day basis.
She is the main contact when you reach out about an event, and consults with Kaitlyn about wedding cake designs, styling, and so much more.
